2001 XR70 BOUGHT IT FROM A DRAG RACING BUDDY WHO USED IT IN THE PITS AT THE TRACK. BOUGHT IT FROM HIM IN 2006 WHEN HE RETIRED FOR MY SON. BOY IS NOW 13 AND 6 FT. HE DOESN'T FIT THE BIKE AND HASN'T RIDDEN IT IN 3 YEARS. IT IS TAKING UP SPACE AND NEEDS TO GO. STILL FIRES RIGHT UP AND RIDES NICE. I WENT THROUGH THE CARB AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SUMMER AND HAD IT RUNNING GREAT. IT HAS SAT SINCE AND STILL RUNS GOOD. PROBABLY COULD USE THE CARB CLEANED AGAIN. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS AND I WOULD NOT SELL IT IF THERE WAS AND I DID NOT MENTION IT. I NEED THE SPACE MORE THAN THE TOY. PLEASE CALL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS 812-987-8759. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

Andrea Antonelli Dies After Moscow World Supersport Crash
Sun, 21 Jul 2013Italian racer Andrea Antonelli succombed to injuries suffered in a crash during the World Supersport race at Moscow Raceway in Russia. The Go Eleven Kawasaki racer crashed on the final corner of the opening lap in very wet conditions, and was struck by Pata Honda racer Lorenzo Zanetti. The race was immediately red-flagged and Antonelli was taken away by ambulance while medical staff attempted to resuscitate him, but the 25-year-old was pronounced dead at 2:10 pm local time.
