Honda xl description

This is a pretty nice 40 year old Honda.  The bike is completely original with barely over 500 miles.  That means this motor is not even fully broken in yet.  All the rubber is in perfect condition the problem is that the bike was bought at the dealership in Huntington beach and never left that area so like anything kept by the beach is going to have rust issues.  if this bike was bought and kept in the desert it could probably go into a museum, but instead its a motorcycle that will probably run and work like new but without some work it will never look like that.  Picture shows that the muffler will have to be replaced or fixed.  Tires are not cracked and seat is in good shape.  BILL OF SALE ONLY, has not been registered since 1977 so it is out of the DMV system.  Have 1976 250 was well that I will be posting in a few days.

An 859cc ultra-short stroke V4 Honda that Joey mastered around The Island, later winning the TT Formula 1. Although the 'production' race, the RS850R stretched that to the limit.

Honda Electric Bike

Mon, 22 Dec 2008

Takeo Fukui’s speech this week was a bit on the gloomy side as the company adjusted its profit forecast by 67% in the wrong direction. Slumping auto sales and a sagging U.S. dollar were the main factors for Honda’s third profit forecast cut this year.
