1972 Husqvarna 450 CR. Nice shape ,plenty of power and LOUD. Currently not running. Ran this past spring but won't start. Has spark, Gas or carb needs played with. Thinning the herd of the oldies. Rear rim and fenders are not original. Rear tire is new and the front is " vintage" . Hand throttle assembly needs attention but works. Dent free, nice chrome tank. Clutch is good, shifts good. I do NOT have a TITLE. Bill of sale can be given. I will not ship but will assist you. Could meet somewhere on a weekend. 100 paypal deposit, prefer the balance in cash if possible. Mark Blackwell Recognized as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend
Wed, 08 May 2013American motocross pioneer, race team manager and motorcycle industry executive Mark Blackwell is getting another honor: being recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Blackwell, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000, will be feted alongside the 2013 induction class during AMA Legends Weekend, Oct. 18-19 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.

Wed, 06 Mar 2013John Penton was one of the most influential figures in the development of off-road motorcycle racing in America during the 1960s and ’70s. His life’s story is triumphant and tragic. When his attempts to convince Husqvarna to produce a smaller, lighter motorcycle fell on deaf ears, Penton created his own design and commissioned KTM, a small moped and bicycle maker in Austria, to build it. The motorcycle was an instant success in off-road competition and led KTM to expand its efforts in the motorcycle realm, initially in conjunction with Penton and ultimately on its own.
Official Sketches of 900cc Husqvarna Streetbike
Fri, 27 May 2011Husqvarna has released these official drawings of its upcoming streetbike. Best known for its off-road models, Husqvarna seems to be taking a page from parent company BMW in teasing its new on-road model, first by releasing details about the engine, and now with these sketches. The drawings reveal a naked road bike with a supermoto influence not too far from Husqvarna’s usual style.
