Rims (stainless steel spokes & nipples) assembled, trued and polished by Buchanan's. Hubs powder coated by Buchanan's. Engine & trans rebuilt by Forest Stahl. Paint by John LeFevre. Displayed in home, oil and gas drained after first start up. Frame #MJ 05278, Engine #2018 1435. All receipts and manual included. No title, bill of sale to winning bidder. One of his preferred brands was Husqvarna (another, seen here, was Triumph) and to the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts and McQueen fans alike, one of his bikes will soon be in the hands of a new owner. This 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross owned and ridden by Steve McQueen will be up for auction on January 10th, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, by Bonhams. The motorcycle comes with an exhaustive quantity of documents supporting its provenance and authenticity.

There are some technical metamorphoses, and one of the main ones is a new reverse slip clutch from the Swiss company Suter Industries.
