Husqvarna Other description

2013 Husqvarna Tr650 TERRA, Need to thin the herd and produce some cash flow to fund my next trip. This is an awesome 650 and it's going to be difficult to let her go but so be it. The bike is in perfect shape with the exception of a small scuff on the right tank due to a stopped drop. I have ridden this bike both on and off road and does the job. Engine and drive-line are 100% stock with the exception of a High Tech Coonass spoofer to fix the off idle stall. All maitenance was done by me with oil changes at 100, 500 and 2000 miles. The bike currently has a bit over 4000 miles on it and will need oil and filter(have oil filter) changed ASAP. The current tires are Michelin T63's, (the rear is toast) Depending on your wrist, this bike has delivered between 45 and 65 MPG. I typically get 58 MPG when cruising at 70 MPH. The sale price indludes the following add ons. Tourtech bash plate Rox 2" risers Heated grips Cycle Gear handguards Husky OEM soft tail bag HTC spoofer OEM tires(taken off @ 700 miles) Extra stock seat foam and cover 12 volt power point Uninstalled Uniflow foam filter Uninstalled Nomad rear rack $5,499.00 7064900519

EICMA 2012: Introducing the Brutus, the Two-Wheeled SUV

Thu, 15 Nov 2012

You’d be forgiven if you thought the motorcycle pictured here was a Husqvarna on steroids. No, despite the red and white colors and Husky’s recent reputation for showcasing surprising concept models at EICMA (such as the Mille 3 in 2010 and the Baja at this year’s show), the bike shown here is an all new model called the Brutus from a company called Over. Designed by Alessandro Tartarini, formerly Lambretta designer and son of the founder of Italian motorcycle company Italjet, the Brutus is a pre-production concept that has been described as being a two-wheeled SUV.

Husqvarna has introduced an updated line of enduro

Sun, 01 May 2022

Changes have affected the entire range of Husqvarna enduro bikes, consisting of seven models: three two-stroke and four four-stroke, respectively. All these changes were aimed at making motorcycles even faster, more controllable and more predictable. They didn’t touch the “iron” of the engines - why, if everything is already so close to ideal.

Husqvarna Developing ABS for Off-Road Use

Thu, 03 Nov 2011

Husqvarna announced it will introduce the worlds’ first anti-lock braking system designed for off-road racing, equipping a BMW-developed off-road ABS to Husqvarna’s flagship TE449. On paved roads, ABS prevents wheels from locking up, keeping them rotating and providing traction. Off the pavement however, rear wheel lockup is helpful for stopping on loose surfaces such as dirt and gravel.
