1979 INDIAN AMI50 2051 Original Miles-Needs Restoration This is a barn find and is not running. The engine is free and the tank is fairly clean. It was running when parked approximately 10 years ago. I have not attempted to start it. The center stand is broken off, but is included. It is missing the left side cover. Parts and info on these is readily available on the inter web. Take the stress out of this election season with a super fun project! This is a NO RESERVE auction and only last 5 days. It ends on Sunday! Indian Motorcycles Marque Of The Year For 2014 Vintage Motorcycle Days
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Riding the wave of momentum from Indian’s long-awaited revival, for 2014, Indian Motorcycles will be the marque of the year at this year’s Vintage Motorcycle Days (VMD), held at the historic Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, July 11-13. As this year’s celebrated marque, VMD will include special recognition, displays and race classes for historic Indian-brand motorcycles (including Indian “Motocycles” from the early days), as well as participation from the new Indian Motorcycle. VMD is open to all riders, regardless of what bike they ride.
Indian Announces Two-Tone Paint Schemes For 2015 Lineup
Mon, 14 Jul 2014Indian Motorcycle, America’s first motorcycle company, announced today in a sneak preview of its model year 2015 lineup that the new model year would also bring a return of the classic two-tone paint scheme the early Indians were known for. The much anticipated vintage paint palettes were on-display over the weekend for fans of classic motorcycles at Vintage Motorcycle Days 2014 in Lexington, Ohio. The iconic two-tone schemes will build on the overwhelmingly positive response to the current 2014 Chief range, known for its hi-torque Thunder Stroke 111 motor and precise handling, thanks to Indian Motorcycle’s sand-cast aluminum frame technology.
