1969 Indian Boy Racer This auction is for a rare 1969 Indian Boy Racer. They were made by the Floyd Clymer Indian company for two years 1969 and 1970. This is a very early 1969 model that came with a 50cc Jawa CZ 2stroke, the latter versions came with the 50cc Minarelli engine. Looks like a mini flat tracker, seat perfect, no scratches dents anywhere... These are rare, and in this condition very rare. Please email with questions. Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction Rakes In $1.8 Million
Mon, 16 Jan 2012A collection of classic motorcycles including some owned by the Du Pont family was auctioned by Bonhams in Las Vegas, with sales reaching $1.8 million, nearly double the pre-auction estimates. The auction included 50 motorcycles and 113 lots of spare parts from the Du Pont family including some from the personal collection of E. Paul du Pont, founder of Du Pont Motors and one-time president of Indian Motorcycles.

Mon, 24 Feb 2014Riding the wave of momentum from Indian’s long-awaited revival, for 2014, Indian Motorcycles will be the marque of the year at this year’s Vintage Motorcycle Days (VMD), held at the historic Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, July 11-13. As this year’s celebrated marque, VMD will include special recognition, displays and race classes for historic Indian-brand motorcycles (including Indian “Motocycles” from the early days), as well as participation from the new Indian Motorcycle. VMD is open to all riders, regardless of what bike they ride.

Mon, 10 Dec 2012Polaris Industries offered the first preview of the next generation of Indian Motorcycle, releasing an audio clip of the new engine that will power an all-new model. Indian is offering a a line of 2013 Chief models but all of them are continuations of models offered by Indian’s owners. The new Polaris-era Indians are still a year away, but Polaris decided to start promoting the brand and teasing the new models ahead of a 2014 re-launch.
