1946 Indian Chief CLASSIC, 1946 Indian Chief Motorcycle Model 346 with matching numbers Has won: 2 Best of Show 1 Peoples' Choice 7 First in Class and was published on the cover of Thunder Roads Magazine with a 2 page write up. -Hand polished heads, cases, inner & outer primaries & transmission. -Set up as original factory left hand throttle, foot clutch & hand shift 3 speed. -Motor & transmission has all new bearings and .20 oversize pistons. -All original cylinders, cases, heads & transmission. -Original hand sanded and powder coated plunger frame with new springs. - Girder front forks hand sanded and powder coated with new springs & shock. -All rebuilt and polished model 344 Linkert carb. -Rebuilt original generator, still 6 volts. Runs excellent and is a "ride everyday" bike that is very reliable and dependable. Not an item to "buy" but an "investment" to be made considering it will only increase in value. Bonhams To Sell Garelli Grand Prix Collection At No Reserve

The Grand Palais in Paris, France will play host to the auction, which includes the entire Garelli Grand Prix collection as its headliner. Founded in 1919, many famous Italian racers got their starts on Garelli motorcycles.

2015 Hero HX250R – The Indian Sportbike Developed by Erik Buell
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp revealed a new 249cc sportbike developed with the help of Erik Buell Racing. Hero is calling the HX250R for now, though the name may change before it enters production in the second half of the year. Whatever the name, the HX250R will be Hero’s flagship model and the company’s weapon against former business partner Honda and its CBR250R.
