1946 Indian Chief , Miles original! OIder restoration. Recently conv. 12 volts, but old 6V eqpt goes with bike. Bike has solo seat, but also 2person CHUM-ME seat goes with it. Everything works. Has new twin front spotlights straddling headlite. Headlite is Sylvania Silverstar Ultra, brighter than a 100 watt halogen! With 12 volts, road's lit up brite as day. Piaggio Slashes Vespa LX125 Prices in India to Bolster Slow Sales

Piaggio launched its Vespa scooter brand at last January’s Indian Auto Expo to much fanfare but sales have fallen short of expectations. The Vespa LX125 launched in Indian showrooms in April as the first new Vespa scooter offered in the country in 13 years, but Piaggio has only sold about 25,000 units. That might seem like a lot, and would be, for the U.S.

Polaris Reports Q3 2011 Results

Polaris Industries announced another record quarter with sales growth across all its product lines including on-road vehicle sales which consist mainly of Victory Motorcycles and Indian Motorcycles. The Medinia, Minn., company reported $67.6 million in net income for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011, a 43% increase from the $47.2 million reported in the same quarter of 2010.

Provisional 2013 World Superbike Championship Calendar Released

The International Motorcycling Federation released a provisional calendar for the 2013 World Superbike Championship. The 2013 season will see a new round in India, the return of Jerez, and Laguna Seca replacing Miller Motorsports Park as the series’ lone U.S. stop.
