Indian Chief description
If you are looking for a great driver Indian bid on this bike. I bought this bike locally from the Nephew of the dealer that sold it new. I have owned it for 30 years and drove it in parades. In its life it has been all over the country and has a very interesting past. It is running and shifts nice in all gears. I have only put 600 miles on it in the last 20 years so it is time for someone else to enjoy it. Call with questions 712 269 1047 after 4:00 central standard. It is not restored it was freshened before I bought it. There are imperfections in the paint and wear and tear. The chain guard needs repaired from the kick starter and there is a small dent in the top of the tank. Very presentable but not perfect.
Nate I do not have to sell it so the reserve is firm. Others have sold for more and Mecum thought I could get that in Kansas City. On May-02-16 at 15:13:05 PDT, seller added the following information: serial number 3485884 the motor is a late 47 motor which was not uncommon Thanks to ALL that know more than I do. On May-06-16 at 20:16:30 PDT, seller added the following information: Included pictures of the original chummy seat with brackets and windshield with bar and brackets. Windshield is cracked. I have the bike for sale locally so if it sells I will have to remove it from auction. |
