this great example of the most desirable year INDIAN CHIEF it is numbers correct!! I purchased this off a friends uncle , he purchased it in 1970 road it for awhile and then had it restored 25 years ago ( i don't think they had any Chinese repo parts then) it was all original then ( body ,engine /frame/ front end ) see numbers below .when it was purchase in 1970 .It was what we call , survivor condition . It still looks in show condition as it was kept in a climate controlled environment ridden once in awhile and has been in my personal collection !! but its time to go as Hurricane Matthew got a little close for comfort so i decided to let a few of my prize possessions go ? The On-Road division consists primarily of Victory Motorcycles but also includes Indian Motorcycles, electric vehicle brands Global Electric Motorcars and Goupil. The acquisitions of the latter three brands contributed to nearly a third of the overall growth.
