Indian Chief description
This is a 1948 Indian Chief. I added electronic ignition, 12 volt conversion, modern cv carb, Timmerman electric starter ( the only electric starter that retain the kick start) This makes it a great and reliable rider. All the original parts (Linkert carb 6 volt generater, Chumme seat) are included in the sale. The tank,fenders speedometer etc. are original.

This is a 1948 Indian Chief. It is a matching number bike. Tue, 09 Feb 2021That's right - now it's quite possible to talk about the family of "flat tracker" models, because from now on there are four models in it: FTR, FTR S, FTR R Carbon and FTR Rally. The FTR engine is unchanged, and even the 1203cc V-twin is still at 123bhp, but the engineers have tweaked the settings to make it Euro 5 compliant. Other than that, there are quite a few changes.
