Indian Chief description

NO RESERVE
2001 Indian Chief   (less than 2000 bikes made that year)
Beautiful two tone red and white paint, well taken care of, it has the very popular SS 88 (1500cc) engine with SS carbs, only 16,811 miles (might be higher by the time it's sold). 100th year anniversary medallion in the primary cover. The saddle bags are original and are worth of over $2000 alone. I am the second owner of this bike, the first purchased it new in 2002, it's never been laid down (taking the first owners word for it). The chrome is in great shape, the only blemishes is in the chrome rims, some rust spots that were there when I bought it. New back tire, front caliper and master cylinder has been rebuilt this year, new throttle and idler cable, not installed yet, runs great the way it is. Aftermarket Trunk bag (not pictured) will be included also. This is bound to be a collectors item. I am selling it locally also, just outside of Jackson MI.  I reserve the right to deny bids according to bid history. Buyer is responsible for shipping. No trades no low balls, I don't need the money. Happy bidding

Top Ten Hottest Biker Movie Women [Video]

Tue, 24 Jan 2012 00:00:00 -0800

Introduction1 of 11Next Last The theme song to “The Grinch” describes the eponymous character’s soul as “An appalling dump heap overflowing with the most disgraceful assortment of deplorable rubbish imaginable,” and that’s pretty much how we feel about biker movies. Exceptions such as “The World’s Fastest Indian,” “On Any Sunday,” “Faster” and “Take It To The Limit” exist, but gems like these are rarities. An attractive female straddling a bike on the big screen ó no matter how audacious, unbelievable or misguided ó usually gets a pass.

Polaris Reports Q1 2013 Results

Tue, 23 Apr 2013 00:00:00 -0700

Polaris Industries reported a 26% increase in net income over the first quarter of 2013, but a 2.9% decline in on-road vehicle sales (comprised almost entirely of Victory and Indian Motorcycles). The company’s first quarter filings report a net income of $75.5 million, up from the $60.1 million reported over the same period in 2012. Much of the increase can be attributed to a 217% increase in net sales from its snowmobile division, spurred in large part by increase in snowfall across many regions of North America.
