Manufactured at the Kings Mountain Indian Motorcycle facility in limited numbers. Powered by the Indian 105 cubic inch PowerPlus engine with electronic fuel injection. Equipped by Indian with a six-speed Baker transmission, Brembo brakes with dual calipers and floating rotors, classic white wall tires, chrome fender tips, chrome spot lamps, chrome lifter covers, lockable quick detach windshield, front/rear chrome highway bars, chromed Indian script tank badge, serialized frame badge, chrome billet footboards with Indian Script, and much more. Polaris Acquires French Quadricycle-maker Aixam Mega
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Polaris has added another brand to its growing list of acquisitions, buying out Aixam Mega S.A.S., a French manufacturer of light-duty commercial vehicles and quadricycles – small four-wheeled enclosed vehicles that can be driven, in some markets, without an automobile driver’s license. Aixam Mega joins Polaris’ portfolio which already includes Victory Motorcycles, Indian Motorcycles, electric vehicle makers Global Electric Motorcars and Groupil. Like GEM and Groupil, Axiam Mega produces small vehicles, though its products include both electric and diesel-powered vehicles.
The Indian Motorcycle Company has registered new motorcycle names
Tue, 02 Jun 2020The Guardian and Pursuit names will apparently be the versions based on the new Indian Challenger. Introduced at the end of last year, the Indian Challenger immediately attracted some attention thanks to very interesting "stuffing". It is equipped with a liquid-cooled overhead engine with a displacement of 1769cc PowerPlus - the most powerful V-twin in Indian history, it develops 122 hp at 5500 rpm and 178 Nm at 3800 rpm.
