Indian SCOUT description

We are selling my wife's 2015 Indian Scout. She is moving up to the Vintage so this one must go.  This bike is the original red that isn't available anymore except on the top of the line Scout ABS. This is a numbered bike which means it came with a 5 yr unlimited transferable warranty.  3.5 yrs remain. Bike has 2243 miles. All service done by local dealer. Bike is in great shape and runs fantastic. We added the tank bag for small storage and Indian leather grip wraps. We also added highway bars and the windshield. Windshield does have a few scratches due to the fact we bought the windshield used. This is a great bike to learn on as it is just over 500lbs and has a low center of gravity. This machine is also a thrill seekers dream as it has 100hp and is super quick.  So whether you're learning, as my wife was, or a more experienced rider that loves a fast ride, this bike is perfect.  We have all original paperwork and 2 keys. Own a piece of history. Buy an Indian Motorcycle.

Two companies named in the Lambretta Consortium’s claims of trademark infringement say they have legitimate rights to use the Italian scooter brand’s name. The statement was released in response to the Lambretta Consortium’s announcement about taking legal action against unlicensed use of the brand.

Polaris Reports Q1 2013 Results

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

Polaris Industries reported a 26% increase in net income over the first quarter of 2013, but a 2.9% decline in on-road vehicle sales (comprised almost entirely of Victory and Indian Motorcycles). The company’s first quarter filings report a net income of $75.5 million, up from the $60.1 million reported over the same period in 2012. Much of the increase can be attributed to a 217% increase in net sales from its snowmobile division, spurred in large part by increase in snowfall across many regions of North America.
