Hornaday mentioned that one of his favorite photos is of his father, a racing legend himself, seated on an Indian Chief, just before he sold it to go into the Army.

Documented by the McQueen Certificate of Authenticity that the bike was acquired after the actor’s death at the estate auction held in Las Vegas in 1984, the Chief was fully restored in the early 1990s.

It is equipped with a liquid-cooled overhead engine with a displacement of 1769cc PowerPlus - the most powerful V-twin in Indian history, it develops 122 hp at 5500 rpm and 178 Nm at 3800 rpm.
