KTM Other description

In perfect condition – looks and runs great. Purchased from original owner about a year or so after he bought it, so I had it most of the time. I am a senior citizen just starting out riding after 35 years away.

Electric Start – MUST HAVE especially on 4 strokes but great on all bikes when in trouble !!

Do not have a hours meter but not used that often nor hard. Moving to son’s large 500 dual sport bike so selling.

One of the few Street Legal dirtbikes, have plates and title for it since go to gas station and car wash. Most Street Legal bikes tend to sell for $ 700 more, since hard to get, so this is a deal.
Has a 300 big bore kit so has lots more power than the 250s and will get you anywhere you need to go and quickly. Tires are both near new, engine has all new seals and been checked out completely.

~ $ 3,150 in great options and here are the approximate prices:

- Big Bore Kit $ 600
- Recluse Pro Auto Clutch $ 600 (not installed now but “think” I have all the parts and manual
- Warp 9 Goldish/Orange Matching Rims $ 500 – very nice looking (front near new)
- Trail Tech X2 Halogen Headlight $ 100
- Horn and switches $ 50
- Enduro Enginerring Soft Seat $ 100
- Orange Handguards $ 100
- Cooling Fan and high-volume water pump $ 200
- Front Tuned suspension ( ~ 180 rider) $ 200
- Rebuit Rear Shock $ 100
- New Piston, rings and seals $ 400
- New Bearings on most of bike $ 200
- Expensive Synthetic Oil (always use)– just changed/regularly along with air filter.

Only exchange I might consider (if wife approves  ) is a good condition KTM 200 or KDX 200 and some money. Otherwise, please don’t ask. Pretty firm on the price so no low offers.

Call me if interested on cell phone of eight3two 5sevenseven8sixzero2

Can’t be sorry with a KTM! Greatest and most durable bikes around. Well worth a little more.

Helen Kurt Caselli Send-Off Attracts Thousands

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

In a touching tribute to Kurt Caselli, one of America’s brightest off-road racing stars, who tragically lost his life in a crash while competing in the Baja 1000, a gathering of over 2000 people descended upon Glen Helen Raceway to pay their final respects in a rolling tribute. The line of cars stretching back to the nearby freeway was a fitting reminder of just how many lives Caselli touched and how important a figure he was to many. Caselli’s KTM crew and teammates were just some of the many who came to pay their respects and take a ride-out in Kurt’s honor with his mom Nancy and fiancée Sarah at the head of the vast pack of motorcyclists. Motocrossers like Dean Wilson, Blake Baggett, Cole Seely and then other luminaries like AMA Superbike racer Chris Fillmore and off-roaders like Destry Abbott were part of the group.

A postcard from Moto GP Jerez

Fri, 04 May 2012

If the weather over the Jerez Moto GP weekend was dull then the atmosphere in the press room was the complete opposite.  After the carnage and chaos during the Moto 3 race, the amazing Romano Fenati (in only his second GP) had the Italian journalists celebrating as he crossed the line to win. I smiled as they simultaneously began singing ‘Y Viva Espana’ as if to signify the end of Spanish dominance in the junior GP class.

EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 KTM Freeride 350 – Lightweight Entry Level Enduro Bike

Tue, 18 Oct 2011

KTM has revealed a new lightweight entry-level off-road model with a claimed weight of just 99 kg (218 pounds). Set to debut at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, the 2012 KTM Freeride 350 was created as an introductory model for off-road enduro riding. The Freeride 350 offers an easier entry point to off-road riding than the company’s competition-based EXC line.
