This listing is for a 1974 KTM 420 barn find. For the most part the bike is all there. This bike has excellent compression. The story behind the bike was that it was running when put away 4 years ago. It was kept in someone's basement for the time. It is missing a shifter and one of the rear shocks. The forks or triples are not cracked which KTM is known for. The frame isn't bent, cracked, or repaired. Both tires hold air and have decent thread. Looks like it needs a new kill switch. 2013 AMA Supercross Minneapolis Race Report

Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show.
