This is a 2009 ktm 50 junior I bought new for my son for $3200. He rode it only 6 hours and decided he would rather ride his 4wheeler so time to sell it. This bike has been well maintained, oil and air filter changed every hour of use and always garaged. It looks nearly new also, barley any signs of use on the bike. Tue, 15 May 2012WSB last weekend at Donington Park, once again delivered some amazing racing but I'm not sure what Leon Haslam has to do to get that first victory on the BMW. He looked the strongest prospect for the win in race one until Marco Melandri appeared to brake a tad early at the Esses sending the Pocket Rocket across the gravel. I really believe it was a case of innocent victims though at the last corner on the last lap in race two.
2013 KTM Two-Stroke Off-Road Models Recalled for Throttle Defect
Tue, 23 Apr 2013KTM has initiated a recall on 2013 two-stroke off-road motorcycles because of a problem with the throttle cable. The models affected are the 125 EXC, 125 EXC Six Days, 125 SX, 150 SX, 150, XC, 200 EXC, 200 XC-W, 250 EXC, 250 EXC Six Days, 250 SX, 250 XC, 250 XC-W, 300 EXC, 300 EXC Six Days, 300 XC, 300 XC-W, 85 SX, and 85 SXS. According to KTM, the throttle cable on affected models can get pinched between the throttle cable wheel and the top of the throttle housing assembly. This flaw may result in the loss of throttle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
KTM to stop production due to coronavirus
Sat, 07 Mar 2020Pierer Mobility has announced plans to temporarily stop assembling KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas brands from March 30 to April 10. We are talking about the plant in Mattighofen, where "orange" motorcycles and Husqvarna are produced, as well as a factory in Girona, Spain. The company is taking this step to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
