KTM Super Duke R description

Up for auction is a 2015 KTM 1290 Super Duke R. This bike is new and has never had the battery charged or fuel in it. It has not been a demo model.

The 2015 KTM Super Duke 1290 R ABS is a Sport Style Motorcycle equipped with an 1301cc, Liquid Cooled, V Twin, DOHC, 4-Stroke Engine and a 6-Speed Manual Transmission. It has a Inverted Fork Front Suspension while the Rear Suspension consists of a Single Sided Swing Arm. The Super Duke 1290 R ABS has Front Dual Disc Brakes and Rear Disc Brakes. The Super Duke 1290 R ABS weighs 416.7 lbs. and has 5.5 inches of ground clearance.

The Super Duke 1290 R ABS includes a 12 month Limited warranty.

The 2015 KTM 1290 Super Duke R has been given the term of Streetfighter due to the powerful performance, hard-hitting torque-monster of an engine, long-travel and big bump-absorbing suspension and its cozy cockpit that takes the pain out of long rides. Featuring a honking 1.3-liter LC8-generation Twin wedged within a slim, tall and taut steel-trellis chassis, the Duke wows riders with keen lines and eyelid-peeling performance. With 80-plus lb-ft of torque available at the right wrist, from just above 4000 rpm, the 1290 stops the competition in the burnout department.

Akrapovic Slip-on Muffler  $1099.99
Carbon Muffler Hanger       $121.99
Billet Orange Frame Cover  $39.99

2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure Confirmed

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

KTM has officially confirmed it will launch the new 1290 Super Adventure on Sept. 30 at the Intermot show in Cologne. To tide us over until then, KTM released this official image of the adventure-tourer and provided a few details, describing it as the “absolute pinnacle of luxury sport-touring riding.” Based on its name, we assume the Super Adventure will use the same engine as the 1290 Super Duke R.

EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 KTM 690 Duke

Mon, 31 Oct 2011

KTM has released a video teasing its redesigned 690 Duke, which is set to make its debut at the 2011 EICMA show. The 2012 690 Duke will be powered by what KTM claims is the world’s most powerful Single-cylinder engine in production, with output expected to be close to 70hp. Updates include a side-mounted exhaust instead of the previous version’s underslung silencer, ABS, ride-by-wire throttle and weight savings from a new manufacturing process for the structural fairing and subframe.

KTM Moto3 Valencia Test

Fri, 03 Feb 2012

While MotoGP factory and satellite teams held their first pre-season tests this week in Malaysia, KTM held its own test for nine riders in the new Moto3 class earlier in the week in Spain. While the premiere class’ new 1000cc engine displacement limit and Claiming Rule Team entries draw the most attention, we can’t forget MotoGP isn’t the only class in the World Championship seeing changes for 2012. The new Moto3 class also debuts this season, replacing the old 125GP class.
