Kawasaki Concours14 description

2008 Kawasaki Concours 1400. Runs, drives, and looks like new, Neutron Silver with detachable luggage with factory inserts.  Shad detachable trunk, engine guards, Saddleman seat, aftermarket windshield, new battery, newer Continental Road Attack II tires, 2 key fobs, and owner's manual.

Medical reasons force the sale, but I'm not giving it away. Clean, clear title, third owner, very nice cycle for short or long rides. Last year I rode it from Michigan to North Carolina to the Tail of the Dragon, and it was a very comfortable ride. Fresh oil change using Amsoil. Coolant change last year using Engine Ice coolant.

LOCAL PICK UP ONLY - Southeastern, MI

Supersport performance with long-distance touring comfort. The Concours 14 combines breathtaking engine performance, impeccable handling, and a comfortable riding position with clean, convenient shaft drive, locking hard luggage, an electrically adjustable windscreen, and a host of other features to create the most impressive long-distance, high-speed machine on the market today. Cycle World Magazine described the 2008 Kawasaki Concours 1400 as "A sport-touring bike that performs like a low-flying missile. (May 21, 2010).

The engine is a transverse-mounted 16-valve inline-four with a displacement of 1,352 cc (82.5 cu in). The fuel injected engine on the 2008 model has a power output of 114 kW (153 hp) at 8,800 rpm and produces torque of 136 N·m (100 lbf·ft) at 6,200 rpm. The ram-air intake increases power to 117.6 kW (157.7 hp).

Power-assisted brake force redistribution. K-ACT is also a combined braking system in which both the front and rear brakes are applied in differing amounts depending on whether the front brake lever or rear brake pedal is used. The rider is able to select, using a handlebar switch, the amount of front brake force applied when the rear brake pedal is used.

The 1400 is fitted with a keyless ignition, KIPASS (Kawasaki's Intelligent Proximity Activation Start System),[2] which means that no key is needed to start the bike as long as the rider is carrying the coded transponder--typically in a pocket.

Lady Moto Gymkhana: ‘You Ride Like A Girl’ – Video

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

A time-tested putdown among boys and adult males is the “You throw like a girl” insult meant to highlight the targeted male’s inability to throw some object with the appropriate force needed to get the object moving and continuing along the correct trajectory. In other words, as the male of your species you should posses the innate ability to throw a ball, but instead you lob it overhand like a female that’s never thrown a pitch or a pass in her life. Of course, the action verb throw is replaceable with just about any action the insulter wishes.
