Up for bidding is my 1985 KDX 200. I recently put a ton of work into this bike with intentions of riding it myself, but I simply don't have the time to ride. The bike starts right up, shifts, and handles well. It does smoke quite a bit when you first start it up, but that goes away after a couple minutes. The smoking could simply be that the new piston rings need to wear in still. I've literally only ridden this bike down the street a couple times since it was rebuilt. Cosmetically this bike is not too bad for the age. Seat is in excellent shape, Most plastics are in ok shape with the exception of the rear fender (see picture). I do not know if the lights work, I have not bothered to buy new bulbs for the bike. I do not have a title for the bike. Local pickup only. Deposit required within 24 hours of winning bid. Kawasaki Announces New Protection Plans
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. announced recently that after 28 years of providing coverage to Kawasaki customers, the Good Times Protection Plan (GTPP) has been rebranded as Kawasaki Protection Plus (KPP). Kawasaki Protection Plus offers all of the same factory backed coverage and extended service contract programs as GTPP, but through Kawasaki’s partnership with Service Group, KPP has added new products including GAP, Tire & Wheel, Prepaid Maintenance as well as all-encompassing coverage for other OEM brands in the form of Preferred Protection Plus.
2014 AMA Supercross – Seattle Results
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.
