Kawasaki KLX description

2013 Kawasaki KLX 110, The KLX 110 brings parents and children together for off-road fun, and includes push-button electric starting, four-speed transmission, an automatic (centrifugal) clutch, a low 26.8 seat, and a dependable 111cc engine.

This versatile motorcycle makes it easy to get going with its push-button electric starting. Just in case, there s a traditional kick-start lever for backup, but once riders get used to the magic button, they re likely to forget all about it. The torquey 111cc four-stroke is easy to use. To make the KLX110 even more beginner-friendly, it s equipped with Kawasaki s automatic centrifugal clutch system, allowing easy no-clutch shifting. The semi-automatic gearbox boasts four speeds to access the KLX s full spread of torque.

2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Spied in Norway

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

Spy photographers have captured images in Norway from a video shoot for what appears to be an updated Kawasaki Ninja 1000. The images show two riders on an updated Ninja 1000 (or Z1000SX, as the bike is known in Europe). The saddlebags indicate this is the Z1000SX Touring variant offered in Europe, but the rest of the motorcycle is otherwise similar to the Ninja 1000 (which, by and by, won our 2011 Gentleman Sportbike Shootout over the Suzuki GSX1250FA and Yamaha FZ1.) The new Ninja 1000 doesn’t look much different from the 2013 model, apart from the new paint job.

Moto3. Recession racers?

Mon, 08 Nov 2010

I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.
