If the standard KLX 140 with its 17 front and 14 rear wheels holds appeal for both young and old, the KLX140L incorporates all of its many features, yet packages them in a slightly beefier version, giving taller riders something to crow about. The 19 front and 16 rear wheels on the L-version are only part of the story, as its also equipped with a more performance-oriented , reservoir-type shock that the larger, more experienced rider will quickly appreciate. Kawasaki UK announce 2010 touring dates

KAWASAKI UK is offering an organised European touring holiday for owners of the company's motorcycles.The trip is centered around the Loire Valley in central France, with the initial event running between 1 and 3 May 2010. Priced at £450 for riders and £125 for pillions, the tour includes a pre-event pack with maps and guides for the route, accommodation for two nights at the Panoramic Hotel in Sancerre, return ferry tickets and even a dedicated support vehicle, carrying tyre fitting equipment and tools, staffed by a qualified mechanic.A highly experienced rider will lead the tour, with another Kawasaki Tours staff member at the back, providing reassurance for all riders and the confidence to fully enjoy their continental trip. The event is to run in partnership with Focused Events Ltd, one of the UK’s leading organsiers of motorcycle experiences.

Following the launch of the heavily revised 2014 Ninja 1000 ABS (reviewed here) comes a not-so-surprising, equally revised Z1000 for 2014. Boasting a plethora of performance upgrades the new Z also comes to the party in new Sugomi style. According to Kawasaki, sugomi “describes the intense aura or energy given off by a person or object of greatness and felt by the viewer.
