Kawasaki KX description

Up for sale is my Kawasaki KX250 I got this bike with the intention to race vintage MX but it is so unique being that it probably only has 20 hours if that on it!! I was afraid if I crashed on it that it would never be the same then I thought I could take off most of the original items and replace with wear and tear stuff like handlebars, grips, side covers etc. But I have decided to pass it on and I have purchased another vintage bike that will do the job.
So on the bike! It is like I said super stock, original and very low hours (est.10 to 20 hours)!! It has the original tires still on it just the way I picked it up original grips, bars, rubber lever covers it's all just like off the show room floor . it did sit out side it looks like from the tires have bad sidewall cracks along with seat cover, tank has some fading and minor dents. The down swept pipe doesn't even have a dent in it! You will probably never find a bike like this again! I touched up the frame when I got it,had minor scuff marks and pulled pipe and painted while off looked at piston and it is nice and clean looking. It also comes with a spark arrestor that slips on over stock pipe end.
I have the original levers but the balls were bent on one and broken off other but will include with the replacements that are in place now.
Bike starts right up runs and sounds great and tight! Shifts fine it's will be like buying a "demo" bike from the year 1976!! The gas tank had some wear on the lettering and I touched it up but can be removed if needed with little effort.
This will make a great show bike or vintage racer. These bikes are getting hard to get and to find one like this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
If the winning bid goes to or over 3000. I will include the vintage bike cover from same era. But only if over 3000.00
Ask questions if needed. I will not crate but will help with your shipper.
You won't be disappointed! Good luck bidding!

WSBK to Make Fake Headlight Stickers Mandatory for 2013

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

World Superbike racebikes will be required to have fake headlight stickers on their race fairings to more closely resemble their production series counterparts. The new regulation, set to kick in for the 2013 WSBK season, was designed to establish a closer link between the production model and the race-trim superbike. The new rules will also mandate 17-inch aluminum wheels.

Kawasaki Z1000 ABS Back For 2015

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

The Kawasaki Z1000 is nothing if not attention-grabbing, and for 2015 it will be back in Kawasaki’s lineup of motorcycles. Team Green calls it “Sugomi” styling, which combines its sculpted shape – invoking a crouching predator – with painstaking details like its special “Z” ignition key, machined aluminum steering stem bolt and the intricate “Z” motif seat cover. This is wrapped in a new color scheme for 2015 that combines Golden Blazed Green with Metallic Spark Black to create a dramatic motorcycle.
