Kawasaki credits new fuel injectors and revised ECU settings for the acceleration boost. The dual injection system includes an upstream and downstream injector, with the latter’s droplet size reduced slightly for 2015. Team Green’s PR promises the downstream injector revisions and ECU changes contribute to increased power in the low to mid-range, as well as improved response and aforementioned acceleration performance gains.
The KX250F features three engine maps (Standard, Hard and Soft) via DFI coupler cap, and the ECU is fully programmable as well. Kawasaki also carries over the Launch Control system for its 250, which debuted on the 2014 model.

Sykes Staying with Kawasaki Through 2016 WSBK Season
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes has signed a contract extension with Kawasaki to see him continue to ride for Team Green through the 2016 season. Sykes, who currently holds a 44-point lead over Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli with three rounds remaining in the season, has been with Kawasaki since 2010. Since hopping on board the Ninja ZX-10R superbike, Sykes has won 22 WSBK races and holds a record for 23 Superpoles in the current qualifying format.
More Teasers for the 2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Kawasaki has released another teaser for its upcoming revised ZX-14, now dubbed ZX-14R. In the first video, a couple of numbers are cryptically displayed: 84 x 65mm. This is a thinly veiled reference to its bore and stroke dimensions, indicating the biggest Ninja received a 4mm stroke elongation, which would bump the bike’s displacement from 1352cc to 1441cc.
Kawasaki Z250 SL Launched In Asia
Wed, 30 Apr 2014Kawasaki, today, launched the long-awaited streetfighter version of the Ninja 250 in Asia. Dubbed the Z250 SL (Super Lightweight), some may call it the baby Z1000. That nickname, while fitting, is already reserved for the standard Z250, which draws a middle ground in terms of riding position (and amount of plastic) between the Z250 SL and the supersport Ninja 250. Designed for the sports-minded urban commuter, Kawasaki heralds this lighter, racier alternative to the Z250 as the perfect companion for someone looking for Ninja-based performance, quick, nimble handling, and aggressive ergonomics.
