ENGINE
fully rebuilt 1979MK2 KZ 1170cc block with 1425 kit. 40mm flat slide mikuni carbs, custom built exhaust and dual plug cylinder heads.

TRANSMISSION
1981 five speed fitted with a hydraulic clutch assembly, Air shift via dyna setup onboard air compressor , rear chain drive and foot shift.

WHEELS/SUSPENSION
2004 Kawasaki 600 wheels machined on outer rim.
custom front forks and triple clamps.
yamaha extended swing arm from an R6 and KYB suspension.

There has been so much work that has gone in to this bike. Lots of custom machined parts on the bike.This motorcycle looks amazing as you can see and drives just as well.You will never find another bike like this and the GPZ is becoming very hard to find. i will help for shipping but buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. i will need a deposit within 48 hours of auction closing and bike must be picked up within 2 weeks.

45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report

Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.

Paton Enters 2014 Isle of Man TT

Italian racebike manufacturer Paton announced its return to international racing in entering the Lightweight TT race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT. The Paton name has been around since 1958, most notably competing in the late ’90s and early 2000s in the Grand Prix World Championship, but has been relatively quiet since the end of the 500cc era. Paton will enter its all-new S1, the company’s first street-legal motorcycle.
