Kawasaki KZ250LTD description
1980 Kawasaki KZ250LTD The original owner of this bike purchased it new in 1981 and we were able to purchase it from her. She rode this bike very little and it has very low mileage. Recent Service we preformed: New battery and oil change Cleaned carb and gas tank New o-ring on left side cover Bike runs well and everything works. Not all of the chrome is perfect and this bike could use a good clean up. Front tire has some weather cracking and there is a minor mark on the front seat. Some of the chrome has oxidized from sitting and there is minor pitting in the left front fork. This would be a great first bike as it has an electric start and the seat height is low. Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?
Mon, 28 Feb 2011As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
