Kawasaki Ninja tech info
Kawasaki Ninja description
Here is a nice running Ninja. Bought it from a co-worker and the bike is simply not my style. I prefer an upright ride. I'm used to FJR, Concours etc. Prior owner rebuilt the carb and intake plus freshened the tank. Ready to ride(what of the year is left). Has minor issues, however running is not one of those problems. Issue 1: Has an oil leak if left to sit. Won't leak if ran every day. I rode it to work and it never dripped when used. Let it sit a week...it drips. Issue 2: Front forks have been sealed. Some see that as an improvement...you may not. The forks do not adjust anymore. Issue 3: Needs a gas cap. I have one, with a fresh seal. Never got around to installing it. Issue 4: Carbs are not completely set. The set screws(which happens) are not functional. They are set about 95%. Want better...completely rebuild them. Issue 5: Various pieces are missing screws. Right(as sitting on it) turn signal only has 1 screw holding it on. The windshield(which I do have) has no bolts. Other various screws/bolts missing. Issue 6: Battery likely dead. Will attempt to charge. Otherwise we can jump the bike(I have a jump box). Issue 7: I don't trust the tires. I'm anal about tires. They have heat cracks. I replace tires if they have cracks. Mileage is actually unknown, I guessed the 10,000. Have a feeling the guage cluster is not original. I will NOT ship this bike. I will meet you within a reasonable distance(I have a truck to carry it...if I deliver, that is EXTRA). More pictures, ask and I'll text them. Asking a deposit. If you are local, no deposit(just ask me to change the setting). |

New 1972 Kawasaki Z1 only £720
Fri, 29 Jun 2012Looking at the pictures of Japanese firm Yamato's new Kawasaki Z1 you'd be hard pushed to tell it's not the real thing. But in fact it's a scale model only just over a foot long, made with incredible attention to detail with several years of development to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original 900cc Z1 of 1972. Using 3D scanning of real parts, the bike was scaled down to create this model, which has now gone on sale in Japan at an eye-watering £720 apiece.
Kawasaki KLR650 Returning For 2015
Tue, 09 Sep 2014One of Kawasaki’s most popular sellers, the go-anywhere, do-anything KLR650 will once again be a staple of Kawasaki’s 2015 lineup. Preferring to run on either dirt or asphalt, the dual-purpose bike is very versatile, able to take riders almost anywhere they wish to go on- and off-road. The 651cc Single may not be the most inspiring engine in the world, but it gets the job done.
