2007 ZX-14 Special Edition Super Sport for Sale $5,800. Clarksville, Tennessee. Garage kept. Aftermarket D&D slip-on exhausts. Ergonomic comfort grips. Less than 700 miles on new sprockets and chain. A few minor scratches, but tip-top mechanically. Almost 17,500 miles. Battery tender quick charge cord installed on the battery, but actual charger not included. Tires are in very good shape. Rose stickers on the bike but can be easily removed it's my wife's bike. Hasn't been ridden hard and has been well maintained. Title in hand. Serious offers please. 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Recalled for Engine Stalling Issues

Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 because of a risk of the engine stalling during deceleration. No recall has yet been posted for the U.S. though the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website, though members of the KawasakiNinja300 forum report they received letters from Kawasaki Motor Corps.

A Weighty Issue

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
