2007 KAWASAKI NINJA EX500

This 500 Kawasaki is an excellent commuter or beginner bike. This particular Ninja is in great overall condition. The bike has never been wrecked. It is in stock condition. The paint is in excellent condition with no major flaws. The two side panels are cracked at the same spot where they are screwed to the frame. The previous owner probably had them off and tightened them to much on installation. All the lights, horn and gauges work 100%. The bike has just been safety inspected and serviced. The state inspection is good till 7/14. The front and rear tires have about 75% tread left. The rear brakes have 80% pad life left while the front brakes have 55% pad life. The bike has been on a reliability run and the transmission, clutch and motor all work and sound as they should.

WSBK 2013: Donington Park Race Report

Tom Sykes had an outstanding weekend in front of his home fans, scoring a pair of wins at the World Superbike Championship round at the United Kingdom’s Donington Park. The Kawasaki racer led every session from first qualifying onwards, before leading all 23 laps in both races for the double. The double victory brings Sykes to within 4 points of series leader Sylvain Guintoli who had a decent weekend himself with a pair of podium finishes.

WSBK to Make Fake Headlight Stickers Mandatory for 2013

World Superbike racebikes will be required to have fake headlight stickers on their race fairings to more closely resemble their production series counterparts. The new regulation, set to kick in for the 2013 WSBK season, was designed to establish a closer link between the production model and the race-trim superbike. The new rules will also mandate 17-inch aluminum wheels.

FIM Releases New WSBK Rules – Updates Include Pitstops, Weight Limits and Headlight Decals

The International Motorcycling Federation and the Superbike Racing Commission released a number of amendments to the 2013 World Superbike Championship rulebook including pitstops, fake headlights and a revised starting grid alignment. We’ve already seen the fake headlights with Kawasaki getting a jump on the new regulation earlier this season with headlight decals on Tom Sykes‘ and Loris Baz‘s ZX-10R. Starting in 2013, all superbikes will have fake headlights to resemble their homologated production models.
