NO RESERVE AUCTION HIGH BIDDER WINS THE BIKE. 1972 Kawasaki S2 350 triple. Clear Indiana title. VIN# S2F-18639 Engine# S2E-18753. Complete minus speedometer. Mileage unkown, has sat in a garage untouched since the late 1980s and will need restored or refreshed. All original bike with all original parts. Engine turns over free and shifts in and out of gear. Brakes are in working condition. Has rust in areas and seat is torn. Good restoration project. Mon, 07 Jul 2014Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.
2013 AMA Supercross Salt Lake City Race Report
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Monster Energy Kawasaki racer Ryan Villopoto demonstrated once again he is a the top of his sport, clinching his third-consecutive AMA Supercross championship. Villopoto cemented his title with a win in front of 43,149 fans at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, his ninth main event victory of the season and 33rd in his career. Though he led every lap, Villopoto didn’t have as easy a time in Salt Lake City as he has had in some races this season.
