Kawasaki Other description

Very early made 1973 Z1 900cc Kawasaki. One of the last ones up for sale here in the states. Has CLEAR TITLE.  VIn #Z1F-00547 with original engine #Z1E-00654  This bike has a beautiful new rootbeer brown and orange paint job, professionally done to correct specs, and it is flawless. Gas cap is new also. The rest of this bike is original, except for the 4 into 1 header pipe. The original seat is hardly worn, and is not damaged. Rims are original but tires are worn. Comes with original owners manual in the tail piece tray. The bike has everything it was born with except the mufflers and air box. Markers are even still on the plug wires to keep from getting them mixed up. This is a very rare bike, comes with clear title, and has a professionally correct paint job. Unfortunately the engine is seized from sitting so long before I found it, and I have too many other projects to complete, so I will let someone else tear the top end off to get it going again. It only has 11,460 total miles on the bike, so it can't be anything too serious. Buy I'll leave that up to you Kawasaki collectors, as I am getting out of the business. I also have a titled 1973 H2 Kawasaki triple I will be listing in the future, but right now I have it apart. There can be a package deal here, but they won't be cheap, as they are impossible to find now. The H2 has new purple paint and graphics. The engine is ok, but I have the cylinders off right now. I also have tons of H2 parts I need to sell. A package deal would be my preference. But back to this Z-1, I will entertain offers or muscle cars. The bikes are in Ohio. I can have bikes shipped anywhere in the United States, or even overseas. I do not use paypal, so other arrangements for payment will have to be made. I like to use wire transfers to my bank, but will listen to other methods. Shipping is absolutely no problem, as I have much experience, and have shipped dozens of bikes over the years. The paint on this Z1 will astound you. It probably looks even better than factory paint. My painter outdid himself on this one. You can email me with any type of interest in this bike or the H2. I'll try to get right back to you. Thank you for looking. P.S. I also have it listed in major motorcycle magazines, so I reserve the right to remove this ad at any time. The time to buy is now. It won't last long.  Oh yea, has the tool kit too

Stuck for a gift? Solution No3: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawasaki merchandise

Fri, 09 Dec 2011

After the excesses of KTM and Harley's gifts ranges, Hondas seems tame. But even the sober Japanese firm has a handful of oddities in its line-up. The Japanese have been accused of imitating in the past, and Honda's incorporation of a baby's dummy in its official accessories catalogue mimics KTM's 'Silencer-System Mini Pro'.

Five minutes with Stuart Easton

Fri, 10 Aug 2012

Stuart Easton has been the sole hope for Scotland in BSB since his friend and mentor Steve Hislop left us nearly ten years ago. Rat boy, as he’s known to friends, shone in the 125 and Supersport class and until his horrendous crash at the North West 200 last year was a serious contender for the 2011 BSB title. Many (including himself) thought his career may have been over but he astounded everyone by climbing back on the podium just a few rounds into the 2012 season.
