Kawasaki Other description

This is one of the nicest KZ650SR's you will ever see. Only 7186 original miles

NOT RESTORED--------ALL ORIGINAL

This is the first year these came out and they were only out for 2 years.

It runs and rides like a near new bike that has only 7000 miles on it.

These will be the next bike for collectors when all of the Z1's and KZ900's and KZ1000's dry up.

It will run right with the 900's, quick and lighter.

The fork seals and dust covers, airbox boots, caliper seals and master cylinder kit have been replaced with OEM Kawasaki parts. New battery installed, oil change and filter.

Carbs were ultrasonic cleaned with new carb kits and balanced.

Notice the stock crossover exhaust unique to this bike.

The paint and pinstriping are all factory and in great shape with no fading (rare for this color).

Noticeable blemishes:
I am sure it had a right side fall and there is a scuff on the right mirror stand, very minor scrape (not dent) on the end of the right muffler and some minor blems on the chrome of the right muffler.
The left side of the tank by the K has a small line impression but the paint is fine. about 1" long.
The front tire is like new tread wise but is cracking on the sides.

I believe a minor spill like this may explain the low miles on this bike. They probably just parked it but they did it right and no signs of this ever being out in the weather.

It comes with the factory tool kit, owners' manual and is currently registered until Feb 2014 and I have the title in my name.

This bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells before my reserve is met. Once the reserve is met I will let go until the end.

I will work with your shipper.
Please pay $500 deposit through Paypal and contact me for the balance.

This all being said I would like to add that I am a collector and have been having a great time going all over the U.S. picking up bikes. I have enclosed pictures of some of the other bikes that are available and if you have any questions about this bike or the others feel free to give me a call.

Please call me with any questions about this Time Machine! Bill @ 951-529-2924

Japan Needs Your Help

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.

WSBK 2013: Aragon Race Report

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.

WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
