Hard to find 1978 Kawasaki Z1R, Kawasaki's entry into the Superbike war of 1978. Good running, well kept bike. Bike was painted black sometime in the 1980's and the stripe kit to duplicate the 1980 Z1R paint job was added later. There are small nicks and dings but is still shiny and presentable. Seat is cover is a very nice newer duplicate. Exhaust is a Vance and Hines 4 into 1 that's a few years old and in very good condition. Not real loud but has a nice sound. Bike runs good, tank is clean inside and it has no oil or gas leaks. Tires are older but serviceable. Original kickstarter lever that belongs under the seat is gone and stock windshield was replaced 2 years ago. Have the little chrome cover that goes over the seat lock but the spring is missing. Fresh oil change and new battery. Everything works but the fuel gauge. Overall a good rider quality bike or a good candidate for full restoration. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Ryan Villopoto Out For 2014 Motocross Title Defense
Tue, 06 May 2014Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto will be unable to defend his 2013 AMA Pro Motocross Championship title after opting to get knee surgery to fix a lingering injury. Villopoto battled with the knee issue throughout the Monster Energy Supercross season, and after consulting his medical team, it was decided he will undergo surgery on his knee as soon as possible. Monster Energy Kawasaki has signed the 2013 Canadian Monster Energy Motocross Nationals Champion Brett Metcalfe to join Jake Weimer for the 2014 AMA Pro Motocross season.
2013 Kawasaki KX Motocross Bikes Revealed – Air Forks for KX450F!
