For Sale is my 1978 KZ1000 LTD in very good condition runs strong very fast.Paint is original and in very nice condition , the Clutch and Transmission are perfectly smooth.
The bike has many new parts including, Regulator/Rectifier,Horn,Hand Grips, new Mirrors, OEM Ignition Advancer,New OEM Starter Ignition Headlight Switch, Spark Plugs and Caps, Point &Condensor, Mac 4 into 2 Exhaust, and a brand new Interstate sealed case Battery. The Head and Cylinders have been serviced, Honed new Rings, Head has been serviced wirh all new oil seals, Cam Chain Idler sprockets, Idler assembly,Tensioner, and all new rubber dampers. The Carburetors are completely cleaned rebuilt and have been modified with Dynajet Stage 3 to accommodate the Pods. The Bike will need new tires . The bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this Auction at any time due to this. I do not ship so the buyer must arrange shipment and pay a $500.00 non refundable deposit at Auction end with full remaining payment paid within 48 hours of Auction end .Selling in the lower 48 US states only ... 2014 AMA Supercross – Detroit Results
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.

Mon, 13 Jan 2014Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto nabbed a hard-earned first victory of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, overcoming a poor start that saw him ninth after the first lap for the win. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
