  Up for auction is a 1979 KZ 650. I do NOT have a title. I had to put something in the title box or ebay wont let me list the bike. I do not have a key for this bike. The engine turns over. The bike has K&N style air filters, Kerker 4-into-1 exhaust w/no baffle. The bike also has a Kerker oil cooler. The odometer reads 27076. The front master cylinder is frozen. The left side cover is missing. This bike can be titled. The engine# is KZ650DE016443. Date of manufacture is 10/78. Bike is sold 'as-is' no warranty. I accept pay-pal or cash. I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.

Nearly three months on since Joan Lascorz's accident in the post-race test at Imola, the first image has appeared showing the Spaniard in good spirits whilst he undergoes rehabilitation. The terrible crash left the 27-year-old factory Kawasaki rider with a fracture to his C6 vertebrae, and fears that it would leave him quadriplegic. Fortunately, as shown in the picture with his raised arm, Lascorz has recovered full sensitivity in his upper limbs.

Kawasaki announced its 2012 street model lineup this week announcing a number of updates to its ZX-14R, as well as the Vulcan 1700 Voyager, Ninja 1000 and Ninja 650. Absent from Kawasaki’s U.S. offerings is the naked version of the Ninja 650, the ER-6n which has also been updated and will be available in other markets such as Europe and Canada.
