Up for auction is a 1979 Kawasaki KZ750B twin. Clean and clear title, ready to transfer. 17,573 actual miles. This is a good complete light project. Bike was last plated in 2004 and has sat in a garage covered since then. I added fresh fuel and when on a battery charger the bike will start but will need carbs cleaned and a tune up. Clutch works and shifts thru all gears. Kickstart also works as well. Nice seat. Carbs move free and snap back with throttle. All electrics work, horn, indicator lights, signals, electric start. Key works in all locks. Custom 1970s paint job still looks great. Kawasaki fairing is painted to match. Front brake will need serviced and will also need a battery. Mon, 28 Feb 2011As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Recalled for ABS Modulator Issue
Thu, 25 Jul 2013As we expected, a manufacturing error for a Nissin anti-lock brake modulator has led to a recall in the U.S. for the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300. (UPDATE: Transport Canada has also issued a recall for 745 units, in addition to the 1,083 units recalled in the U.S.) Kawasaki had already issued a recall in Japan for ABS-equipped versions of the 2013 Ninja 250, so it was no surprise that the 300, which uses nearly all of the same parts, would fall victim to the recall as well.
