I bought this a few years ago on a quest to own every year GPZ-550, found out after I bought it that the motor was seized, I have most if not all the parts, I do have a clear title in hand and I am sure that someone looking for pieces for their GPZ 550 could find a bunch of valuable pieces in this basket case... I am clearing house and getting rid of ALL my projects in hopes of buying a new motorcycle to ride. The bike is sitting on a steel pallet and can be picked up at a motorcycle shop west side of the Minneapolis Metro area. They have a fork lift there. I will not arrange shipping but can coordinate pick up by freight company.
I have a short window to sell and get it moved out of storage, so please be prepared to arrange pick up ASAP.

The weekend of September 13-14, 2014 will be branded as the Kawasaki Devil’s Showdown, and will feature AMA Pro SuperBike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike, AMA Pro SuperSport and AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series classes. Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
