Up for sale is my 17,zero mile GPZ 1100. This is a nice bike, but has some minor cosmetic issues from a light driveway drop, but certainly not unreasonable for being 17yrs old. -Clean, clean title -Good running order-New rear tire-Battery holding a charge-Starts and runs good-Low miles, especially for year!This is a great bike to either make perfect as your light winter project, or to just ride as-is as a tremendous budget sport touring machine, offered at a fraction of the cost of new. Temp holds possible for a reasonable downpayment, test rides OK with cash on the table and a valid MC endorsement. You drop it, you buy it. Local enclosed delivery is possible at $1.00 per mile round trip. I'm not a dealer, but an enthusiastic hobbyiest. Give me a call for a spot-on honest description, or to make an appointment to see. Kawasaki Recalls 20,512 Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-6R
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on 2008-2011 Ninja ZX-10R and the 2009-2012 Ninja ZX-6R sportbikes due to a defect affecting the batteries. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the regulator/rectifier on affected units may not sufficiently charge the battery. As a result, the battery may unexpectedly be fully discharged, causing the engine to stall.

Mon, 23 Apr 2012Mark Miller, seen here aboard the MotoCzysz electric race bike, won the 2010 TT Zero. Team Segway Racing MotoCzysz will again return to the TT Zero with past TT Zero winners Mark Miller and Michael Rutter as its riders in the 2012 race. The Isle of Man TT press office today announced a total of 18 entrants in the 2012 SES TT Zero electric motorcycle race — a record number of riders according to the IoM TT website.

Mon, 08 Nov 2010I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.
