Kawasaki Other description
2001 Kawasaki ZRX1200R, zrx1200r - The Kawasaki ZRX1200R combines the character and looks of factory Superbikes of the early '80s with modern performance and incredible torque. Adding to the appeal is a great price that made this Kawasaki a Consumers Digest "Best Buy" and provided the most "Bang for the Buck" in Motorcyclist magazine. With its striking green paint, tubular bridged aluminum alloy swingarm and four-into-one exhaust, the ZRX1200R's appearance immediately brings back memories of the KZ1000R Eddie Lawson Replica. The big engine, based on the mighty Kawasaki Ninja ZX-11 powerplant, remains exposed as the ZRX1200R is devoid of engine-hiding bodywork.

Moto3. Recession racers?
Mon, 08 Nov 2010I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.
Kawasaki Producing 599cc 2013 Ninja ZX-6R for Japanese Racing Homologation
Wed, 31 Oct 2012When Kawasaki announced it was upping the engine displacement for the Ninja ZX-6R to 636cc, the immediate question on many Team Green fans’ minds was what it would mean for the company’s supersport racing efforts. Kenan Sofuloglu won the 2012 World Supersport Championship on a Kawasaki ZX-6R, but under the regulations, he may not be allowed to defend his title next season on the 2013 model as homologation requirements in Supersport racing series limit Inline-Fours to displacements smaller than 600cc. Fear not however, as Kawasaki will be producing a special version of the ZX-6R with an engine displacement of 599cc, the same as the 2012 version.
Former F1 Champ Fittipaldi Producing Limited Edition Kawasaki ZX-10R
Fri, 13 Jul 2012Emerson Fittipaldi is probably best known for his four-wheel racing career which include two Formula One World Championships, a CART racing title and two Indy 500 victories. What might be less known, at least outside of his native Brazil perhaps, is Fittipaldi owns a pair of Kawasaki motorcycle dealerships. The 65-year-old former racer and his team has produced a limited edition run of 50 Kawasaki ZX-10R sportbikes in the black and gold colors of his 1972 F1 Championship-winning John Player Lotus 72 car.
