Kawasaki Other description

2007 Kawasaki Z1 , Pristine, garage-kept, like NEW 2007 Kawasaki Z1000! This bike has a little over 13,700 miles and rides like new! All maintenance performed at manufacturer recommended intervals. Always ridden with care in mind (I own an airplane and take care of my machines!) Recently, a new Michelin Pilot Power 2CT was placed on the rear (less than 200 miles ago). Sits in the turns like a dream... you think lean left and the Z1000 is already there. Stays in curves well and accelerates out with a large and stable footprint that gives the rider assurance that you will not spin out. Rides comfortably for the pilot in command as well as the passenger on long trips yet it handles like a street racer. Plus, you can get over 40mpg if you wish to use as a primary vehicle! Low mileage, low maintenance cost, low fuel cost, low price. All this and yet it is still an outstanding High Performance Machine! Could be yours today! Due to work/life/flying I simply do not have time to enjoy this little baby... FYI - I will start the engine and take a brief stroll at least once a week to keep the engine running smooth and oil out of the crankcase and all over the cylinders and moving parts as it should be! Check it out on wikipedia. $7,999.00 4238001199

2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000 Makes North American Debut in Canada

Wed, 11 Jan 2012

As we’ve previously reported, the new Kawasaki Versys 1000 will not be imported to the U.S, but it will be available in North America in Canada as a 2012 model. Kawasaki Canada presented the Versys 1000 at its display at this past weekend’s North American International Motorcycle Supershow in Toronto, for the new “adventure sport” model’s debut on this side of the Atlantic. While he can’t speak for Kawasaki USA’s decision making, Bob Calwell, district manager for Kawasaki Canada, he does note that the Canadian company does have a history of making different product selections.

Oh hi there Mobil!

There was a time when Grand Prix racing was a lucrative affair, with the bikes and their riders resembling the fag packets that sponsored them. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.

The North East,Prescott and fast laps with Chris Walker at Mallory

Thu, 26 Apr 2012

A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.
