Kawasaki Other description

The photos of this bike, do not do it justice. It is in amazing condition, and has been well cared for. There is no indication it has ever even been waxed! The skid plate, side panels and grip guards aren't all scratched up, and there is nothing evident to me it has ever been down. A small scrape in the paint on the side of the luggage rack, likely caused by a tie down hook.

I don't normally sell bikes after I purchase them, so I have them gone through, top to bottom, before I put them on the road. This is everything I can remember:

Eagle Mike balancer/doohickie and deep hole repair, Watt Man color matched Thermo-Bob, new spark plug, carb and bowl cleaned and adjusted, new clear in line K&N fuel filter, fork oil, seals and boots, engine oil and filter, new K&N air filter and adjusted the valves. All gauges, lights and accessories work as they should. Virginia State inspection is current, and expires 10/17. This bike needs nothing but someone to ride it.

It is priced at the upper end of the NADA averages, because it meets the criteria. This is not a fixer upper, it's a ready to ride, low mileage bike in above average condition that has been well cared for, and very well serviced and maintained. Inspections are welcome. The ONLY reason I changed my mind about keeping it is I liked it so much, I bought something bigger!

I will assist the buyers shipper any way I can, and can hold the bike for up to 30 days once it's paid for.

PayPal is for the deposit ONLY. I will be be happy to answer any questions I can.

Melissa Paris To Race FIM CEV Superstock 600 In 2014 Aboard Kawasaki ZX-6R

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

With the recent turmoil in the AMA Pro Roadracing series lately, many teams and riders are looking at other options for the 2014 racing season. Among those is Melissa Paris, who recently announced she would be taking her talents to Spain next year to race in the highly competitive FIM CEV Superstock 600 class, aboard a Kawasaki ZX-6R prepared by Stratos Racing. The Spanish Roadracing championship will be run under the guidance of the FIM for the first time starting next year, which will have the side benefit of exposing Paris to more international teams and competition.

Will the road-going RCV look like this?

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Honda announced in a dry-as-you-like press release that a new bike was coming.  Not another motorcycle-cum-medical aid like the DN-01 or Integra, this is going to be a proper bike. A bike in a similar vein to previous bikes in the RC series, the RC30, RC45 and RC51, aimed squarely at winning races. So what's it going to look like?
