Kawasaki Other description

Unfortunately I have to list my bike up for sale. It is a meticulously maintained 2011 KX450F with only 9.5 hours on the bike. I am a Certified Kawasaki Mechanic and took very excellent care of this bike. I am currently asking $4650 for the bike. I pulled twelve of 18 Holeshots on this bike this past summer. below is a list everything I have done to the bike since I bought it. --hour meter was installed at the dealership when I bought it.WILL TRADE for an older 450 (only) and cash. If you have an 05-06 to trade, ill say it now its not worth $3 grand so dont call and offer me that bike and $1000. Be realistic.Oil and filter changed every three hours with Motorex 4T 15W50 ($18 per quart) I have just installed the third air filter in it. Axles were greased after every ride. Both brake lines have been bled with fresh high temp race brake fluid. Radiator fluid was flushed out and I have only ran EngineIce in it since new ($25 per half gallon).Brand new with no rides on them -- Chain and steel Sprockets, air filter, engine oil and filter.Aftermarket items -- FMF Power Bomb header pipe, Zeta engine plug kit (red), Profilter oil filter cover, Outlaw brake covers (red), Magnetic engine oil plug (red), clutch lever. High-Compression piston (does not require race gas). Seat hump has been installed on top of the stock seat foam. Easton handle bar complete set up installed. Red axle blocks, Dirtshark aluminum front sprocket guard (green).I have reshaped the tire edges and have not ridden it since, so they are nice and sharp. (the green chain guides are no longer on the bike, i sold them separately). Valves and shims are in spec and have almost no wear at all on them.I have extra tires and possibly an extra set of handlebars I can throw in as well.call/text/emailRyan -

2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Homologated for AMA Pro Racing Despite 636cc Displacement

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has been homologated for AMA Pro Racing, making it eligible for the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes for 2013. The news comes as a bit of a surprise as those classes typically consist of Inline Four racebikes with a displacement smaller than 600cc. The new Ninja ZX-6R immediately carries a displacement advantage over its I-4 competition in the class such as the Honda CBR600R, Suzuki GSX-R600 and Yamaha YZF-R6.

Video: Riding the 2011 MSS Kawasaki ZX-10 Superbike racer

Thu, 10 Mar 2011

A long time ago a man – some would say living legend – taught me how to ride a speedway bike. In Scandinavian tinged English he told me that the heart of riding a speedway bike was the relationship between my heart and the centre nut of the top yoke. Like a primitive cave dweller, he beat his heart with his fist while he explained this theory whilst his other hand gripped the top yoke.
