Kawasaki Other description

2012 KAWASAKI Z1000, Naked Bike? Super Standard? Modern UJM? Who Cares What It s Called: The Futuristically Retro and Super-Fast Z1000 is an Absolute Blast to Ride It s a rare thing: a new-from-the-ground-up motorcycle that feels so right and works so well right out of the crate that it has the press swooning and owners crooning. These well-sorted but rare bikes are often described as happy motorcycles, and it s become crystal clear during the last year that Kawasaki s Z1000 completely redesigned in 2010 is a very happy machine. It s a realization that comes after just a mile or two in the saddle, and it s one that confirms the fact that this motorcycle s design team worked a special bit of magic during development.

According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

The 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is in the books, and while much of the media attention focused on Sebastien Loeb demolishing the outright course record, setting the first eight-minute lap with a 8:13.878 — over 90 seconds faster than the previous lap record —in his Peugeot 208 T16, history was made in the motorcycle divisions as well. Below are the times for all the motorcycle competitors in this year’s event. As expected, Carlin Dunne aboard the Lightning electric superbike, took top honors among all motorcycle competitors, marking the first time an electric motorcycle has done so.
