It is a numbers matching bike. Super low mileage of 2,738 mis and the bike shows it. It starts the 1st time every time and it runs and shifts through all gears almost perfectly. Here's your chance to get a basically all original piece of Kawasaki history. You will not be disappointed with this 47yr old historic collector bike. Has the original seat cover with a few defects. Inside the gas tank is almost as clean as new. As you can see from the photos all the stickers are intact including the "Murphy's Jeep & Marine" in "Stetsonville, Wisconsin" which we are assuming sold the bike new. Perfect as a rider as is or a perfect candidate for a restoration. A beautiful addition to any motorcycle collection. They are only original once and this 1 is it!! 2014 Kawasaki KLR650 New Edition Revealed
Fri, 13 Dec 2013Kawasaki revealed an updated version of its popular KLR650 dual-sport at the New York International Motorcycle Show. The new KLR650 isn’t exactly a full model-year replacement as Kawasaki had already announced the 2014 model; instead Kawasaki is calling it the KLR650 New Edition, offering it for a retail price of $6,599, a $100 premium over the “old edition” KLR650. The extra Benjamin Franklin gets you new springs for both front and rear suspension, multi-contour dimpled seat and revised graphics.
AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.

Mon, 03 Feb 2014Chad Reed tasted victory for the second time in three weeks at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., leading all 20 laps and fending off a last-lap challenge from rookie upstart Ken Roczen. Reed, who also won the Jan. 18 round in the second of three Anaheim races, now trails fellow Kawasaki rider Ryan Villopoto by just two points in the 2014 AMA Supercross championship race.
