Kawasaki Vulcan description

  • Condition: Used
  • Engine size (cc): 500
  • Type: Cruiser
  • Mileage: 18640
  • Description: This is a good starter or a project bike. It runs and drives, shifts smoothly through all gears. Oil change was made around 18000mi. I am selling this one becase i found out it is harder for me to ride a cruiser. So I bought kawasaki ninja for myself.
  • Warranty: Vehicle does NOT have an existing warranty. Sold AS IS.
  • History: I bought it from a private seller in 2014. I put around 400 miles on it. It was nocked out from the side stand on January 2016. I drove it to the shop just after that. It was stored over there from then. So it has left rear turning light broken. There is a small dent on the gas tank. Please see the pictures. I will put a new one and a new battery on if it will be sold for more than 1000$. Other than that bike runs and drives and ready to ride.
  • Shipping and payment: Buyer is responsible for shipping or local pickup. Vehicle is sold AS IS, NO WARRANTY.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ground-breaking Kawasaki Z1 which made its public debut in 1972, becoming what many would regard as the world’s first superbike. Kawasaki’s first large-capacity four-stroke multi-cylinder motorcycle took center stage at the 1972  IFMA, the precursor to the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany. Together with the Honda CB750, the Kawasaki Z1 helped spearhead the popularity of the Japanese Inline-Four.

2011-2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Recalled for Crankcase Oil Leak

Fri, 10 Aug 2012

Kawasaki is issuing a recall on its 2011 and 2012 Ninja ZX-10R due to a potential oil leak in the crankcase. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, engine oil may leak from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R‘s crankcase from a machined area where the starter is mounted. Leaked oil may pool on top of the crank case and, under continued use, spill onto the rear tire, reducing traction and increasing the risk of a crash.
