2007 Kawasaki Vulcan on 2040-motos
Kawasaki Vulcan tech info
Kawasaki Vulcan description
Up for 'no reserve' auction is a 2007 900 Vulcan Custom in 'as new' condition. This motorcycle was stored many years in a temperature controlled garage. It has less than 1800 documented miles. The motorcycle is completely original and has not been modified in any way. It was rescued by an 'old school' professional motorcycle mechanic with 50+ years experience. He cleaned the fuel system and serviced the motorcycle. A new battery was installed. Soap and wax is all that was required to make it sparkle. This is a low maintenance motorcycle with Electronic Fuel Injection, Belt Final Drive and digital dash.
This is a chance to buy a like new Kawasaki 900 Vulcan Custom for the same price as a similar Vulcan with 20,000 or more miles of wear and tear. This is a no reserve auction, bid to win. We will work with your shipper. We can deliver it to the Tampa airport shippers or locally for a mileage fee. Better yet, fly or drive in and ride it home... make an adventure of it.
A Magazine review in 2007 said:
Kawasaki has created an impressive portfolio of cruisers and the 2007 Kawasaki VN900 Custom is one of its best yet. The Kawasaki VN900 Custom's laid back, chopper style is due largely to its distinctive, cast alloy big 21-inch front wheel, the high-rise drag bars (which not only look good but prove very comfortable) and the forward highway pegs. For a custom, the Kawasaki VN900 Custom is impressive through bends. At cruising speeds, even when the speedo reads 75, buzz is absent and the Kawasaki VN900 Custom continues to deliver a silky-smooth ride. Kawasaki customs are usually a cut above the norm and the Kawasaki VN900 Custom continues that tradition with dream chrome, good paint and neat detailing and build quality.

A Dizzying Lap Of Imola + Video
Wed, 14 May 2014Nilox, the action camera sponsor for World Superbike, makes it a point to film an on-board lap of each track on the calendar before each race weekend. A few weeks ago we brought you footage of Giuliano Rovelli lapping a Honda CBR1000RR SP around Assen. This week Rovelli is back, this time aboard a Kawasaki ZX-10R, giving us a rapid tour of Imola, the track made famous by the tragic passing of Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna 20 years ago, and also by the legendary battle between Troy Bayliss and Colin Edwards in 2002 which decided the championship.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Dainese Superbike TT Results
Mon, 02 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop won a historic Dainese Superbike race to kick off the 2014 Isle of Man TT week. Riding the S1000RR, Dunlop secured BMW its first win on the Isle of Man since Georg Meier won on a Type 255 Kompressor in 1939. After catching early leader James Hillier of the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team on the opening lap, Dunlop continued to set an impressive first lap time of 17:11.107, which translates to a record average speed of 131.730 mph on the 37.73-mile Mountain Course.
Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared
Thu, 11 Dec 2008What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.
