Kawasaki Vulcan tech info
Kawasaki Vulcan description
Hello! For sale is my 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom.
I bought this bike with 1245 miles on it in July of 2009. I have enjoyed adding another 19000 on it during that time. This bike is ridden as often as I'm able. That said, it's been cared for and maintained mechanically.. However it does look like its ridden regularly. So if you're looking for glitZ and glam this is not your bike. Like any bike owner I've added my share of things that I wanted through out the years which I know only makes it valuable to me and maybe not to you but you know how that goes..So listed below is what I've done: Kuryakyn Driver and passenger floor boards, shifter and brake pedal Chromed master cylinder cover Engine guard Rear end has as 2" drop Bullet fairing Slip on mufflers K&N air filter Iso Grips Throttle boss Handle bar end caps Run-turn-brake controller Back rest Luggage rack Mustang seat Racks for the saddle bags The floor boards to have a few rubber strips missing. Only maintenance issue that I've ever had has been the controller for the front headlight went out 4 years ago and was replaced and the stator went bad 2 yeas ago and I replaced it and the rectifier at the same time. I have not had any other problems before or since. I have maintenance records from the Kawasaki dealer where work was done. I have changed my own oil however every 3500-4000 miles. She had her brakes and coolant flushed last year. Tires are 75-80%. I love this bike. It is/was my first. But I want something bigger to ride longer distances. I'm selling to use as a down payment for a larger Kawasaki. Title is free, clear and in hand. If you have any questions please give me a full day to get back to you. Thank you for looking at my bike. |

EICMA 2013: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 First Impressions Video
Tue, 05 Nov 2013“It looks kind of angry!” That pretty much sums up what Editor-in-Chief Kevin Duke thinks of Kawasaki‘s newly redesigned Z1000 and its “sugomi” design philosophy. And for those of you who feel turned off by today’s machines and their dependance on the latest electronics, Kawasaki says the Z1000 does not have traction control because they want to keep it raw and untamed. Wed, 08 Sep 2010We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.
Silverstone Motorcycles launch night Thursday 29th
Wed, 28 Jul 2010TOWCESTER based Silverstone Motorcycles, has just announced a launch night on Thursday July the 29th as part of the build up to the UK round of the World Superbike Championship being held at the revamped racing circuit just two miles west of the impressive new premises. A dual celebration marking the conclusion of a massive refurbishment project, the fun packed evening also marks the unveiling of Silverstone Motorcycles as the latest Kawasaki dealer in the UK. With a raft of attractions including a special guest appearance by Kawasaki World Superbike star, Tom Sykes, a ticket prize competition for the WSB round itself, plus the chance to ride a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R round the new Silverstone Stowe circuit over the race weekend, the evening has been conceived as a way of launching the new dealership and welcoming as many Kawasaki fans as possible according to Managing Director, Nikki Lockyer.
