Kawasaki Vulcan description
2007 Vulcan 1500
22516 miles Two-tone tan and blue Vance & Hines Long Shots exhaust Baron Big Air air cleaner Cobra driver and passenger foot boards Engine guard with highway pegs Kuryakyn running lights and front signals Blue LED accent lights for the engine The previous owner retrofitted a bat-wing fairing and headlamps from a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. The fairing is equipped with a 4" windshield. The previous owner also installed a JVC CD Player with an auxiliary input, and two 4" speakers. The stereo is plenty loud, but you could retrofit the speedo/tach holes to attach two more 4" speakers. This bike runs, and drives great. It has a sporty, responsive, feel when driving, especially given its size. There are a couple wear marks in the paint from the saddle bags that were on it. I have a pair of saddle bags, and a trunk I will include at no extra cost, if they're wanted. I will also include the original sissy bar. Please feel free to message me with any questions. |

Moto3. Recession racers?
Mon, 08 Nov 2010I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.
WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report
Mon, 21 Oct 2013Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
